Day 1

ATHENS -THESSALONIKI

Our Driver meet you at your Hotel at about 08.30 to start your special tour! Our first stop will be at Thermopylae and the statue of Leonidas and then through the wonderful Tempi Valley, we arrive at the biggest town of Northern Greece, Thessaloniki. We visit the Cathedral of St. Demetrius and then we check –in at the hotel. After that you will have free time to have an enjoyable walk to the town and the coast of Thermaikos Gulf. Overnight in Thessaloniki.

Day 2

THESSALONIKI – KAVALA

Start early in the morning, and we visit the small town of Nea Fokea, and the “Agiasma of St. Paul”, that is an underground corridor that ends up to a chamber where St. Paul was hidden when people of Thessaloniki was running after him. Afterwards, we will reach the town of Kavala and then Filippoi, where St. Paul preached his first evangelical sermon and baptized the first Christians in Europe! Visit the “Baptismal” site, where Lydia baptized as the first European woman, and the secret crypt where Paul kept her a prisoner. Finally, we visit Acropolis of Filippoi, the Anvient Market, Basilica and Theatre. Overnight in Kavala.

Day 3

KAVALA – KALAMBAKA

We leave from Kavala, and we arrive at the beautiful town of Veria at Northwestern Greece. We visit the church of Apostle Paul and the “Vima of Apostle Paul” which is made from marble, the place where Paul is very loved because he preached to the people for many days. We continue to the Ancient town of Vergina and to the King’s tombs, one of which belongs to Alexander the Great father and ex-king. Finally we arrive to the picturesque town of Kalambaka, next to the amazing monasteries of Meteora. Overnight in Kalambaka (Meteora).

Day 4

KALAMBAKA – CORINTHOS

Early in the morning, we drive to Meteora, to the breathtaking rock tower monasteries of the 11th Century! We will visit the first great monastery of Varlaam, founded on on 16th century and located on the top of a rock at 380m height!
Our second visit will be at the Monastery of St. Stephan, of the 15th century, also built on the top of another huge rock where you will admire a small treasure of Byzantine and Christian items, at the museum inside the monastery! Continuing we visit the ancient town of Delphi, the most powerful oracle in Ancien Greece! Visit the ancient stadium and the museum, and after a stop at the wonderful Osios Loukas monastery at Livadia, we arrive for overnight at Corinth, Peloponnese. Overnight in Korintho.

Day 5

CORINTHOS – ATHENS

Following the footsteps of St.Pauls in Corinth, one of Paul’s beloved cities, the town that inspired many of Paul’s letters, we visit the Cathedral of St. Paul, the Market, and walk at the same paths that Apostle of Nations walked and preached hundreds of years earlier. We will also visit the ancient town of Mycenae and the Gate of Lions, the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, and after a short stop at the Canal of Corinth we return back to Athens. In Athens, we continue following Apostle Paul footsteps, starting from the coast of Faliro where Paul first arrived in Athens by ship, continuing by visiting one of the biggest churches in Athens of St. Paul, and then next to Acropolis the “Mars Hill” where Paul stood and preached to the Athenians. We continue our tour in Athens, visiting the Ancient Market, Acropolis, the new Museum, the Parliament, the Presidential Guards and the most important sightseeing of the town. Overnight in Athens.

Day 6

After your breakfast we will transfer you at Athens airport.
