Itinerary

Day 1

Athens arrival

Upon arrival Athens International Airport, a representative of Aristotle Travel will meet and assist you with your transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Corinth

In the morning we will journey to Corinth via the famous Corinthian Canal, followed by a tour of Ancient Corinth; it was here where the Apostle Paul came, worked and established a thriving church. We will see the Agora, the Temple of Apollo, the Roman Odeon, the Bema, and Gallio’s Seat. We will visit the Archaeological museum before continuing to the Ancient Port of Cenchreae to see the ruins of a 5th century Christian basilica.

Day 3

Athens

Enjoy a morning walk up to the famous Acropolis and visit the Parthenon, and Erechteum. Then we walk to nearby Mars’ Hill (or Areopagus) (Acts 17:22), where Apostle Paul delivered his well-known sermon. Our tour continues with highlights of modern Athens: the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Parliament House, Presidential Palace, Panathenian Stadium, Temple of Olympian Zeus and the National Library.

Day 4

Mykonos

Embark on a three-day cruise today starting with Mykonos, an island known for its international jet-set atmosphere. Stroll at leisure through the whitewashed, flower-decked alleyways, climb to the sculpture church of Paraportiani and walk along the waterfront of what many refer to as “Little Venice” to the well known windmills.

Day 5

Rhodes

Next call on the cruise is Rhodes, where in ancient times the Colossus of Rhodes is believed to have stood, being one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. An optional half day excursion takes us to visit the Temple of Athena on the majestic rocky Acropolis of Lindos.

Day 6

Patmos, Kusadasi (Turkey)

Today you will arrive at Patmos, the beautiful island where Apostle John wrote the Book of Revelation in exile. Here you will visit the Monastery of St. John the Evangelist and the Grotto of the Revelation. Next on the itinerary is a stop at Kusadasi in Turkey, starting point for our excursion to the ancient city of Ephesus, where Apostle Paul preached for three years. Here you will have the opportunity to tour the ancient ruins and public buildings, among them the Baths of Scholastica, the Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian, the Theatre, including the Temple of Diana of the Ephesians, another of the seven wonders of the ancient world.

Day 7

Athens departure

Transfer to Athens International Airport for departure flight.
